Degermination

The corn degermination process can take place with the dry, semi-wet and wet system. With the correct machinery and processes the germ is separated from the vitreous part of the caryopsis, by rubbing or impact, without being damaged and therefore reusable for different uses such as animal feed, oil production, etc.

An excellent degermination of corn produces finished products, such as gritz and flours, with low presence of excellent fats for the market.
